The Unveiling, a World Premiere Equity Members Project, by Linda Ayres-Frederick
When Herschel Rabinovitzs nephew arrives in America, ghosts of the past begin to appear and long-held guilt-ridden secrets will not stay buried in Herschels mind. Seizing the opportunity to clear himself on the altar of the Synagogue where he once served as President may look like the right choice for World War II survivor Herschel, but the consequences for his daughters are stronger than he bargained for. How can one mans personal decision affect an entire family? The Unveiling is a gripping drama that explores this and other issues of deeply felt loyalties, love, and differing abilities to forgive.
Julie Dimas-Lockfeld directs this world premiere by award-winning playwright Linda Ayres-Frederick at the Phoenix Theatre. Cast includes local actors Richard Aiello, Juliet Tanner*, Valerie Weak*, Evan Sokol, Michael Shipley*, and the playwright Linda Ayres-Frederick*. *Member AEA.
