There Will Be Bowling 2: Electric Boogaloo

Is there anything better than the annual Milwaukee Film Festival? No. Is there anything better than bowling? Strangely, also no. So why not combine the two? From September 28 through October 12, the screens of the Landmark Oriental Theatre, Landmark Downer Theatre, Fox-Bay Cinema Grill, Times Cinema, and Avalon Theater will be lit up with hundreds upon hundreds of films. And on Tuesday, October 3, the historic Landmark Lanes will also be lit up (so to speak) with the second coming of "There Will Be Bowling," a movie-themed bowling tournament brought to you by Milwaukee Record and the Milwaukee Film Festival. This is gonna be good.

What can you expect this time around? How about more prizes, including Milwaukee Film Festival tickets, Milwaukee Record swag, more swag from our generous sponsors, and ridiculous movie junk from the '80s and '90s? How about karaoke in the side bar? How about a free Cinema Hooligante film at the Oriental Theater to follow? How about complimentary pitchers of beer for each team? How about taking the "Electric Boogaloo" bit literally and making this thing cosmic bowling? Oh, and one more thing:
