Join us in celebrating our 18th birthday on Monday, November 6th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lagunitas Taproom. There'll be food, music, and libations!
Working Bikes is a nonprofit organization dedicated to recycling previously owned bikes and using them as a vehicle for empowerment in global and local communities. Since 1999, we've donated over 50,000 bikes to people in Africa, Latin America, and Chicago. The bikes we provide can be life-changing for those who need it the most by improving their mobility and access to education, employment, healthcare, and other basic necessities.
Admission is $35 online, which includes food and entertainment. There'll be a silent auction and drawing. Drinks will be sold for $5 each at Lagunitas Taproom.
100% of the proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Working Bikes global and local donation programs.
Food will be provided by Sinha Elegant Brazilian Cuisine, Ignotz's Ristorante, and The Chicago Diner. Music will be provided by Philadelphia based Brotha Onaci.
Interested in being a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze sponsor? You can avoid transaction fees by paying Working Bikes directly. Other questions? Email Rhonda Bausley at rhonda@workingbikes.org, or call 773-847-5440.
Working Bikes drop-off locations and volunteers should email us for special members pricing.
The Lagunitas Brewery Tap Room is located at 2607 W. 17th St. in Chicago. Access the Tap Room via the Lagunitas parking lot at 17th St and Washtenaw.
