Doors Can Dance
What can a DOOR represent? What does it symbolize? Is it an obstacle or portal? "Restricted area" or "Welcome"?
An eclectic group of 7 ATL artists have found their own answers to these questions.
September 15 & 16 they will share their unique points of view, body languages and concepts through various mediums such as dance theater, contemporary dance, short film, Bharatanatyam, interactive performance art & video installation - all around the image of a DOOR.
Featured artists:
1. Rozina Shiraz Gilani (Bharatanatyam + video installation) 2. Bjørn Venø (interactive performance) 3. Professional Bodies (dance) 4. Jennifer Tarrazi-Scully (short film) 5. Britt Ford (dance) 6. Nadya Zeitlin (dance + video installation) 7. Rourou Ye (short film)
