Elizabeth Whitney is Scholar in Residence in the Institute for Liberal Arts and Interdisciplinary Studies at Emerson College in Boston, and is affiliated with The Dramatists Guild, The Fund for Women Artists, The International Center for Women Playwrights, The National Communication Association, and Performance Studies International. She holds a PhD in Performance Studies and tours performance work about gender, sexuality, and popular culture.

Seattle Poet turned Comedian, Carol Maki, will perform her stand-up act, My Own Divine Grandiosity, at the Rebar, March 11 at 7pm.

These are no garden-variety grandiose delusions. This is divinely inspired silliness.
The comic will enlighten you with divinely inspired opinions and jokes about sex, sexuality, politics, being a woman in the 21st century, compulsory motherhood, relationships, her summer of losing it all and MORE!
