She holds a PhD in Performance Studies and tours performance work about gender, sexuality, and popular culture. Carol Maki Seattle Poet turned Comedian, Carol Maki, will perform her stand-up act, My Own Divine Grandiosity, at the Rebar, March 11 at 7pm. These are no garden-variety grandiose delusions. This is divinely inspired silliness. The comic will enlighten you with divinely inspired opinions and jokes about sex, sexuality, politics, being a woman in the 21st century, compulsory motherhood, relationships, her summer of losing it all and MORE!
