Street Books Celebration & Fundraiser
Street Books is Portland's bicycle-powered mobile library serving people who live outside. Join us on Thursday, September 14th, from 6-7:30 for our annual celebration & fundraiser. Enjoy beer, wine and a taco bar from Por Que No? Dance to Portland's own Colectivo de Son Jarocho, traditional music from southern Veracruz, Mexico. Have a book magically divined for you at the Book Divination Station, and listen to street librarians tell stories from summer.
Our library patrons are always invited to attend free of charge, so if you'd like to sponsor a patron by buying an extra ticket (or purchasing one, even if you know you can't attend), we are grateful for your support.
