Event
Slow Food Washington Meeting
On Friday, August 18, noon to 8pm and Saturday, August 19th, 9am-3pm, Slow Food chapter leaders and friends of Slow Food will meet at 21 Acres in Woodinville (21acres.org) to share their accomplishments and their future intentions as well as to learn about existing and future opportunities for Slow Food going forward. There will be roundtables, presentations, Q & A and typical Slow Food conviviality. There will also be a session on the experience and outcomes of Slow Food Nations just completed in Denver.
A must for such an event is some interesting food. We will begin Friday with a potluck lunch, and at end of day, enjoy appetizers and beverage followed by a buffet dinner prepared by 21 Acres chef Asako Fukuda Sullivan. On Satuday, we'll have a light breakfast and a box lunch.
All interested parties are welcome - you don't have to be a current Slow Food member to attend. You can come for both days or only one or the other.
