Summer Sunset Concert: Melanie O'Reilly's Celtic Jazz Fusion

Melanie O'Reilly , celtic-jazz singer & songwriter from Ireland, has a riveting, innovative and unique sound building a bridge between Irish music and jazz. She is joined by superb pianist Frank Martin and other special guests including Pat Duffey on guitar, to embark on a musical Celtic jazz voyage inspired by Irish poetry, Gaelic culture and the works of literary giants such as James Joyce and contemporary poet Nuala Ni Dhomhnaill, with whom Melanie has collaborated.

The evening will also include a special tribute to one of Melanie's musical mentors, the late jazz legendary guitarist Larry Coryell, who was known as the godfather of fusion, and who played on Melanie's original celtic-jazz album, "Enchanted Island".
