Ophira Eisenberg
NPR host, Ophira Eisenberg can't tell these tales on radio, but she can at Out by 10.
Ophira, NPRs host of the popular and witty game show, Ask Me Another, and frequent host of The Moth storytelling show, was featured in New York Magazine as one of the 10 Comedians That Funny People Find Funny. She has s spent years honing her impeccable comedic timing doing stand-up. She also spent quite a few years lying down in ways she describes in her riotous book, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way To Monogamy.
She's a new mom but that doesn't stop her from getting up to some of her old and very funny tricks. When you watch her, you will fall in love.
Gastor Almonte
Gastor, a storyteller and stand up comedian based in Brooklyn, has appeared on two seasons of Comedy Centrals show This Is Not Happening. Hes the founder and host of Stoops2Stages, a weekly interview series featuring talented artists from the worlds of music and comedy.
Hes a regular performer at UCB, QED and the NY Times featured Liar Show. He peforms up and down the East Coast and has been invited to perform at the 2017 Cinderblock Festival and the 2017 Storyfest Festival at The PIT.
MUSICIANS:
Kj Denhert, named one of Jazz.com's top female vocalists, has played Saturday nights at the famous 55 BarJazz Club in the Village for 20 years. Her sultry voice and rockin guitar-playing have earned her four Independent Music Award nominations and the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest. KJs spirit will touch your soul.
