Romancing the West Dinner Show at Plaisance Ranch
Time Travels Through the American West returns to Plaisance Ranch with special guest Joni Harms and also featuring Martin Gerschwitz (Iron Butterfly, The Animals).
Join us Friday, July 14th at 6:00 pm Show: 7:00 pm. Romancing the West Legacy Tour launched in 2013 has toured ever since in historic theaters, and its highlights version is Time Travels through the American West is presenting at historic sites, museums and interpretive centers across the Nation.
The critically acclaimed time-traveling documentary concert takes audiences through 240 years of the American West, telling the epic story of the triumphs, tribulations and triumphs of the people of the American West in rare historic imagery and original music. The show spans decades, from the Native tribes and the free trappers to the Spanish Missions and Gold Rush, the Indians Wars, industrial revolution through the Great Depression through world wars and the turbulent Sixties to the present day. The show delivers an epic journey through social and political change to celebrate the pioneering human spirit and diverse legacy of the American West.
Writer/Composer/Producer Christina Lynn Martin and co-producer cowboy poet and balladeer Garnet Butch Martin perform the shows original music and signature songs of the eras.
The two-hour show is entertaining and educational for all-ages and boldly remembers the tragic while celebrating the triumphant episodes in Western History with a focus on civil rights, cultural respect and conservation.
