This delightful one woman show returns to the Garden House for the Holidays!
In "String", performer Mary Margaret Moore takes young children on journey of discovery with dance, body language, and an array of simple objects. The minimal set is a metaphor of a blank page, and upon it, a brilliant red rope leading to a huge canvas bundle. Unwrapping the bundle means stepping into the unknown and being open to the discoveries, emotions, and consequences that arise.
"String" aims to engage each child's own imagination and does so without fanfare and spectacle. Adults love it too!
Arriving at the Garden House: The Garden House is 2 blocks from the Beacon Hill Light Rail Station and on bus routes 36 & 60. Additional parking is available via the alley behind the Garden House. ADA access from parking in rear.
Doors will open 30-minutes prior to showtime. Tickets sold at the Garden House will be cash/check only.
Co-presented by Mary Margaret Moore and ROCKiT Community Arts, with support from Seattle Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs
