The Weird Sisters Theatre Project Presents: Space Girl
Arugula just wants to fit in. But it's not easy when you're a 16 year old alien from the planet Zlagdor. In an alien world where the only things that make sense are Roller Derby and salad, Arugula and her father, Nancy, must find out what it means to be human before time runs out for Planet Earth.
The Weird Sisters Theatre Project (The Pretty Girl Basket Toss, Hot Pink) are thrilled to present the WORLD PREMIERE of this award-winning comedy from playwright Mora V. Harris (Alliance/Kendeda Finalist 2016-17)! Directed by the Weird Sisters' own Julie Skrzypek, this limited engagement only runs from August 12-20, 2017. You won't want to miss it!
**DIRECTIONS AND PARKING** The Alliance Theatre Black Box is located on the 3rd floor of the Woodruff Arts Center. The Weird Sisters' box office is right outside the Black Box -- no need to check in at the main Woodruff box office downstairs! Just take the elevator to the 3rd floor and follow the signs for SPACE GIRL!
Paid parking is available in the Woodruff Arts Center deck, as well as the public deck on 15th Street. Street parking (first come, first served) is often available along Peachtree Street and surrounding neighborhoods. Or, you can skip the parking altogether and take MARTA to Arts Center station; the Woodruff is directly across from the station.
THE WEIRD SISTERS THEATRE PROJECT have been producing theatre by women, for everyone since 2012. Find out more at www.theweirdsisters.org.
