On the day of our workshop,

Balinese Gamelan Workshop with Gamelan Dharma Swara.

Want to learn Balinese Gamelan? This hands-on beginners workshop will teach you the basics of gamelan in one afternoon, and have you playing right away. And, if you are interested in joining the group as a performing member this is a great time to come and see what Dharma Swara is all about!

We welcome people of all ages and walks of life to these popular and fun workshops, and no experience is necessary. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 the day of. Since space is limited, we strongly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance online. Please also note that on the day of the workshop, we can only accept payment in cash.

FAMILY WORKSHOP

This format is perfect for parents and kids to experience a different musical cultural together in a fun and relaxed environment.
$20 / $25 day of + $5 additional participant

GENERAL WORKSHOP
Ages 13+
1pm-3pm
For curious individuals who want a basic, hands-on introduction to gamelan. If you have never played gamelan before and are interested in joining Gamelan Dharma Swara, this is an excellent time to meet some of our folks and get a sense of what it's like to learn and play.
