Summer Bricolage
Executive Producer Allen DeWane, Producer/Director Marcia Berry and Associate Producer Taye Diggs collaborate to present Summer Bricolage in Harlem, NYC! This is an artist showcase featuring an array of talent.
The two short plays, "Vultures" (based on the true story of Kevin Carter, Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist) and "While No One Was Watching"(PG-13), chosen by director, Marcia Berry, sheds light on childhood trauma as well as the educational needs of children throughout the world. Berry earned her BS with honors, an MFA, and is currently writing her PhD dissertation on August Wilson.
The arts variety show includes NYC Ailey Student dancers, singers and poets. Dancers will be performing a variety of dance. There is something for everyone. Come enjoy an evening of art with Summer Bricolage.
After Thursday July 13th and Friday July 14th shows there will be a FREE 30min. dance class! Come get your groove on onstage!
There will be a talk-back at the conclusion of Saturday July 15th and Sunday July 16th shows.
