The Exhibition
An inaugural triennial of art that works on, in and with the water, represented indoors at 3LD by installations that are portals to their dynamic nature. Please note: the exhibition is active during events that occur within gallery hours.
Curated by Urban Water Artists (Clarinda Mac Low, Eve Mosher, Nancy Nowacek, Katie Pearl and Sarah Cameron Sunde), the Exhibition features Torkwase Dyson, Mare Liberum, Marie Lorenz, Mary Mattingly, Tryst (Clarinda Mac Low, Carolyn Hall and Paul Benney), Paloma McGregor, Eve Mosher, Nancy Nowacek, Sarah Cameron Sunde and Floating Studios for Dark Ecologies (Marina Zurkow, Nicholas Hubbard, Rebecca Lieberman). From June 5 to 30, 2017, Works on Water turns 3LD Art & Technology Center in Lower Manhattan into a boundary-crossing thought hub for 26 days of art + theater in which a diverse cohort of artists, scientists, water advocates and audiences come together for wide-ranging conversation about the relationship between people and water -- on an individual, community, and humanitarian scale.
All tickets and reservations include entry to the triennial exhibition; exhibition alone, $5 to 15 suggested donation at the door.
