On Friday, June 16 at 8 pm, come celebrate Sgt. Peppers 50th with THE MAGICAL ORCHESTRA and Long Island's premier Beatles tribute band MOSTLY MOPTOP as we present The Beatles' historic 1967 album live on stage.
Host Scott Freiman is creator of DECONSTRUCTING THE BEATLES, a series of films and lectures about the creative process of The Beatles that have entertained audiences throughout North America. Scott will guide us on this behind-the-scenes journey as The Magical Orchestra RECONSTRUCTS the unique and magnificent sounds of The Beatles' groundbreaking recordings of 1967.
The Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is one of the most influential albums of our time. Rolling Stone described it as the most important rock & roll album ever made, an unsurpassed adventure in concept, sound, songwriting, cover art and studio technology by the greatest rock & roll group of all time.
The 17-song concert features the entire Sgt. Pepper album and 1967 classics including "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Penny Lane," "Magical Mystery Tour" and "All You Need Is Love."
Non-perishable canned food items are most welcome.
