Rough House Theater presents Ubu the King
Adapted from the Alfred Jarry play by Mike Oleon with Shelley Geiszler, Ubu the King brings Jarrys seminal satire Ubu Roi to life in all its absurd, grotesque glory. In the hands of five power hungry puppeteer-performers, loveable dirtbag Pa Ubu murders, lies, and farts his way up to the Polish throneand back down again. Beautifully designed and meticulously realized, Ubu is ridiculous, spectacular and regrettably relevant.
Ticket buyers for Rough House Theater on JUNE 2 ONLY get $5 off to Toast to the Fest! before the show.
