The National Football League Hall of Fame, located in Canton, Ohio, is touring a 6,000 square foot exhibit called Gridiron Glory: The Best of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. It is the most extensive and comprehensive exhibit ever done on Americas most popular sport. The experience showcases the Pro Football Hall of Fame's vast holdings of football artifacts, rare photos and one-of-a-kind documents. In addition, NFL Films has provided spectacular footage from its unparalleled film archives to illustrate the exhibits many themes and storylines.
After leaving its current location in Houston, Texas, this traveling exhibit will be on display at the Washington State History Museum, located in downtown Tacoma, May 27 through September 10.
The Tacoma Athletic Commission (TAC), as part of a year-long celebration of their 75th anniversary, is partnering with the History Museum to host a preview of this exhibit before it opens to the public!
Kickoff to Glory takes place Thursday, May 25, from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Included with your exclusive tour of the exhibit will be passed hors doeuvres and no-host cash bars.
The net proceeds of the preview will go towards the TAC scholarship fund and educational programs at the Washington State History Museum.
