The Real (Desperate) Housewives of Columbia County Musical
"Country Life's a Bitch!"
A huge hit at an upstate dinner theatre - "The Real (Desperate) Housewives of Columbia County Musical!" tells the story of four funny, fabulous women. Two are locals and two are weekenders in a world where there may be ups and downs but Happy Hour is always just around the corner.
The show is based - very loosely - on those ubiquitous Reality TV shows. The hilarious musical numbers are all original new songs such as, "Don't Fool Around on Your Broker", "Shop Till You Drop", "A Good Handyman is Hard to Find" and "It Isn't Easy Being a Bitch".
Critics in the Berkshires and the Hudson Valley raved: "boffo script and lyrics...clever and funny, occasionally moving...", "a tasty treat - hilarious bulls-eye", "one of the funniest shows of the season...find yourself a lively dinner date and go out and have a ball".
