Emmitt and Ava
Delta Highway is excited to announce the Los Angeles Premiere of award winning and venerable playwright Dominic Hoffmans newest play Emmitt and Ava. Mr. Hoffman will also direct this timely and relevant contemporary tale of misunderstanding between two families who, prompted by tragedy, suddenly find themselves highly motivated to communicate with one another.
EMMITT AND AVA reminds us how much we need to simply be there for one another, or face losing what is most important to us all -- our humanity.
About the Playwright/Director: Dominic Hoffman is a Double Ovation Award winner for his solo show: Uncle Jacque's Symphony. He won an NAACP Best Actor Award for his solo play, Last Fare. He is currently nominated for an Audie Award in Fiction for his reading of Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi. Mr. Hoffman was last seen in Los Angeles as Henry Brown in David Mamet's, Race at The Kirk Douglas Theatre. He works in television and film as an actor and writer.
