Don't Be Mean to People: A Concert for the ACLU of NC
WHY CALL THIS EVENT "DON'T BE MEAN TO PEOPLE?"

The event's name roots from Don't Be Mean to People: A Golden Rule Saison, a collaborative beer brewed with Ponysaurus Brewing Co., Mystery Brewing Company and 40+ other participants in 2016 to raise money and awareness around HB 2, a bill that we all believe "violates Golden Rule #000001." The beer made national headlines and raised over $40,000 for Equality NC and Queer Oriented Radical Days of Summer, an organization that leads camping trips for queer and transgender youth.
The simple message of "Don't Be Mean to People" is our stand for community engagement to protect the voices and rights of everyone. May 6th is the kick off of these events.
EVERY INDIVIDUAL MUST PRESENT A TICKET FOR ENTRY

It is our hope that you will go above and beyond our $20 suggested entry and donate as much as you can! All artists have kindly donated their time and talent to perform at this event in order to maximize your donations!
