Adapted from the hit Disney Channel Movie comes the popular "Disney's High School Musical". This production features beloved songs from the original movie as well as a selection of new music written specifically for the stage.
Gabriella is new to East High and realizes the boy she met on vacation, Troy, is the popular basketball captain at her new school. Troy and Gabriella make an instant connection and discover a mutual love for singing. Their friends reject their new interest and urge them to stick to the status quo. When Troy and Gabriella realize that they are free to follow their own dreams, their friends discover the importance of supporting each other, no matter what. They work together and find a way for everyone to win.
