A Step in Time - Musical Theatre Revue
Kempenfelt Community Players (KCP) is celebrating 40 years of musical theatre presentations in Barrie. "A Step in Time" is a musical revue of several favourite selections from the 40 years. Covering music from shows such as Guys and Dolls, My Fair Lady, 9 to 5, Music Man, Oklahoma, Into the Woods, Seussical, Beauty and the Beast, Spamalot, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and much, much more!
A 30-member cast and 4-piece live band will entertain, make you laugh and set your feet tapping with humour, choreography and upbeat vocal performances with full harmonies.
Artistic Direction: Chris Ness and Julie Underhill bring a history of over 20 years of collaboration to the project. Both worked together as music teachers at Innisdale Secondary School and previous leadership in KCP shows. This year, they have combined their creative skills to bring together a team of performers, choreographers and script-writers to develop "A Step in Time".
Venue: Enjoy the comfort of the intimate setting at Ferndale Banquet Hall. Audiences will enjoy cabaret-style seating at tables of 8, a cash bar, and up-close viewing of the performance. Don't be surprised if the performers come to your table and dance through the audience!
Reserved Seating: NEW THIS YEAR! You can reserve your seats or full table ahead. Assigned seating is available through purchasing your tickets ahead of the event. A group rate is available for table of 8 reservations.
NOTE: Senior prices apply to age 60 and over. Student prices for elementary to post-secondary. Proof of age or student card may be required at door. NO babes in arms. Show is PG. All audience members must purchase a seat.
