Lgbtq+ History Club #6
Join us for the sixth edition of Brighton's LGBTQ+ history club.
This month Stuart Feather will be doing a reading from his book "Blowing the Lid: Gay Liberation, Sexual Revolution and Radical Queens." Stuart joined the Gay Liberation Front in October 1970 and was with it to the bitter end in 1974. Since his book was published Feather has returned to activism and is a member of the Sexual Avengers; the Pink Cabinet Brigade for a Queer Museum; Queer History Tours A Mince through Time; Bridges not Walls; Look Back in Pride and Queer Heritage Blue plaques.
Join us for a sunday of history, speakers, activities, and to meet fellow budding and experienced historians and importantly, eat cake!
The event will have BSL interpretation.
The history club is totally FREE, but please rsvp, so we have an idea of numbers and chairs and cake!
If you have any questions, suggestions or comments then let us know on here or email info@queerinbrighton.co.uk
