Jungle Book - Jangal Ki Kahani
Presenting a fresh Bollywood-styled take on the beloved classic. This original tale features Mowgli in new adventures learning life lessons from his Jungle family. Featuring original music by Austin's own Bollywood swing band, The Sacred Cowgirls, the show will please kids and grown ups with live action, dance, and fanciful settings.
Spend a delightful hour in Austin's oldest and dearest theater, under a ceiling canopy of twinkling stars. Built in 1871, this historic landmark is still a favorite gathering place for high quality theater and entertainment. Kids may sit on carpets close to the action while grown-ups enjoy comfortable new seating and a beautiful historic atmosphere.
Austin Scottish Rite Theater is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to share and preserve the historic Masonic facility, serving the greater community through high quality performing arts, educational programs, and events.
