Old Times by Harold Pinter
Close on the heels of our critically acclaimed production of 'The Three Sisters', presented at Walker Community Church ("Chekhov done right, with a laughing eye on the absurdity of life," - critic Matthew Everett), Nightpath Theatre Company takes on Harold Pinter's searing play about three people entangled in the subtle and dangerous games of intimacy.
Directed by Nightpath's Artistic Director Maggie Scanlan, the performance features Joey Metzger (Kulygin in Nightpath's 'The Three Sisters') and guest artist Blake Bolan (Company Member of Savage Umbrella), who portray Deeley and Kate, a couple cloistered in a small country house in 1970, who are visited by Kate's roommate, Anna (Nightpath regular Sheila Regan) from their wild days as young women in postwar London. What follows is a titillating game of memory, intrigue and power, where nothing is as it seems, or is it?
Since 2005, Nightpath has been committed to performing "classics with an edge", making great plays relevant, accessible and exciting. We hope you will join us for this production.
