Citilites is proud to present The National Tour of"Squeeze My Cans" at The Gaslight Theatre on Boyle.
Cathy Schenkelberg (Pepper the Clown: WGN's Bozo Show), a successful actress and voice over talent, spent most of her young adult life inside a "cult". "Squeeze My Cans" is the hilarious and horrifying story of her fourteen years inside The Church of Scientology and her five year struggle to escape it. Her journey out, amidst harassing phone calls, midnight knocks on her door by "outreach" staffers, an expensive custody battle, and social rejection finds its way to the stage at The Gaslight Theatre under the direction of Shirley Anderson and produced by Citilites.
"Squeeze My Cans" runs for 6 performances from May 31st-June 4th.
