Faith Community Theatre (FCT) is proud to present the story of Tevye and his family as they stand on the brink of change in Tsarist Russia.
Set in the small village of Anatevka, Tevye is a milkman who strives very hard to keep the traditions of his faith, race and culture. It is a time when daughters are to marry the man chosen by the matchmaker and do as their fathers instruct. However Tevye's daughters have different ideas.
Meanwhile, Anetevka itself is under threat by the local authorities and eventually the Jewish people are told they all must leave the only home they have ever known.
With engaging music and clever writing, the stories of Sholom Aleichem are brought to life for all to enjoy.
