Come for one or both events and make an evening out of itwith sushi!
The first part of the evening includes a special screening of Luceros award winning independent film, East Side Sushi, and chance to meet the film maker and learn about the orgins of his directorial debut. Stick around after the film for some sushi (pre-order with ticket only) and conversation as we re-set the room for the second portion of the evening.
The Film Forum facilitated by Film Studies instructor Louis Pierotti 72 begins at 7:30 pm with an end time of approximately 8:45 pm. The forum will follow a Q and A format and include an interactive competition for door prizes through Kahoots (bring a mobile device such as a smart phone or tablet), movie clips featuring some of Luceros special effects work, and discussion on his life as a special effects professional and film maker. It is really through his special effects work on such notable films as "Star Wars - Episode II," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Iron Man" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" that he funds his passion for the art of film making.
