The Woody Guthrie Tribute Project Benefit Concert and canned food drive
What: The Woody Guthrie Tribute Project benefit concert
When: April 22, 2017 , 3pm - 6pm
Where: E. Simpson Coffeeshop, Lafayette, CO
Conceived both as a personal challenge to myself and as a way to give back to my community I embarked on a 100 day effort to learn and perform 100 Woody Guthrie songs the first 100 days of the new presidential administration. Ive got a bunch of musician friends to join me and we are putting out daily videos on You Tube of these songs.

On day 100 (earth day) we plan to give a Woody Guthrie tribute concert and invite friends from various non-profits whose missions involved strengthening our communities and fighting for social, civil and environmental justice, to speak about their groups and how people can help and become involved.
We are being sponsored by KGNU and I will be doing a radio show with them some time in the near future.
