Dear Elizabeth
Dear Elizabeth, a play in letters by Sarah Ruhl, will be presented at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts on March 31, April 1 & 2. Poet laureates Robert Lowell and Elizabeth Bishop corresponded for over 30 years. Renowned actors John Newkirk and Rosemary Luke bring this intimate relationship to life in a tender performance.
Dr. Renee Curry, recognized scholar of 20th century literature, will provide an insightful overview of the bond between these two literary giants prior to the March 31 and April 1 performances.
