Moses: An Oratorio
The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale and director Charlie Kim are proud to announce the world premiere of Moses, an Oratorio by Sergio Barer, composer-in-residence, performed by the chorale with orchestra, soloists, narration and staging in the historic and beautifully restored 1920s Wilshire Boulevard Temple.

The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performance organization for choral singers representing the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. Its mission is to foster community engagement and pride through quality performances of chorale masterworks on a large scale and to be a beacon of the highest level of musicianship for audience and performers alike. In addition to local valley venues such as the Madrid Theater, Valley Performing Arts Center (CSUN) and Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, the chorale has performed at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, and at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles.
