Love Grows Here -- In St. Louis! The music of Lina Koutrakos
Singer/Diva Lina Koutrakos is leaving the vocals up to some of St Louis's finest at her Thanksgiving Weekend one-night-only concert featuring her award-winning original music! It is Lina's honor to have Shauna Sconce, Robert Breig, Dionna Raedeke, and Katie McGrath have their way with her music on Saturday, November 24th, 8pm at the Kranzberg Arts Center.
Lina "fell in love" with the city and the talent in St Louis some years back when she came here to teach cabaret performance. Now she is back in town with her songs and is proudly wearing her "other hat" as director of this show.
"Love Grows Here...in St Louis" features some of the many singers that Lina has worked with as teacher, creative consultant, and director over the years in an evening of her tunes and their interpretations with long-time friend and musical director, Rick Jensen, at the keys.

Lina's songs have been performed by her southern rock band "The Low Country" in most all of New York City's legendary clubs such as BB Kings, The Bottom Line, Joe's Pub, in addition to a contemporary pop rock musical she has co-written with drummer Dan Gross called SOUTHERN RAIN. Her songs have also been sung by many artists including the New York City Gay Men's Chorus. She has received awards and recognition by the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, American Magazine Award, and Billboard Magazine.
