HAPPY * CRY * PRETTY! is an 8-week performance series presented by TWEED TheaterWorks, Kevin Malony Artistic Director.
Downtown theatre legend Edgar Oliver performs a mix of prose, poetry, and theatrical monologues spanning the range of his career as a writer and performer from the late 1980s to the present.
Edgar Oliver is a playwright, performer, and poet in New York's downtown theatre community. As a playwright, he has written and performed in plays that were staged at La MaMa and other downtown venues. Edgar is also a member of New York's Axis Theatre Company.
Among his most important achievements are four acclaimed one-man shows: "East 10th Street: Self Portrait with Empty House" (Fringe First Award, 2009 Edinburgh Fringe Festival); "Helen & Edgar" (2012); "In the Park" (2016), and most recently, "Attorney Street".
Edgar is also one of the most beloved storytellers at The Moth.
All Sales Are Final.
Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. There is a $20 per person food or beverage minimum at the tables. DINNER SEATING BEGINS AT 6:00PM.
Please arrive one half hour prior to the show and allow additional time if you are planning to have a dinner.
Late arrivals will be seated at managements discretion.
