Zombie Movie Marathon at Ijams Nature Center
The undead come to life on Friday, October 19th as we host our first Zombie Movie Marathon on the lawn of Ijams Nature Center. We have two feature films: The Night of the Living Dead (1968) and Shaun of the Dead, along with a handful of short zombie films presented by the Knoxville Horror Film Fest.
L.A.I.T.H is the band that will be hitting off the night(dressed in zombie attire!!!) And the band of fire hoopers and dancers will show off their amazing talents throughout the night.
What to keep these memories alive? There will be a zombie photo booth to get your pictures taken in.
Doors open at 6:00pm, with food, local brewery- Saw Works, music, popcorn, sodas, and fun. Movies start at dark (sundown is around 7:30pm).
Dress to impress the dead--- the best zombie costume will take home a prize!
Cost is $10 for all of this, plus this is a fundraiser for Ijams Nature Center to help us keep doing fun events for everyone!
