Banff Mountain Film Festival-World Tour
________

National Geographic and The North Face Present: The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brought to you by The Mountaineers.

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour comes to Seattle on November 28th, 29th and 30th 2012.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival, a program of The Banff Centre, is the largest, and one of the most prestigious, mountain festivals in the world. Hot on the heels of the festival held every fall in Banff, Alberta, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour hits the road.

With stops planned in about 400 communities and 35 countries across the globe, this year's tour features a collection of the most inspiring action, environmental, and adventure films from the festival.

Traveling to exotic landscapes and remote cultures, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2012/2013 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

From approximately 350 films entered into the annual festival, award-winning films and audience favorites are among the films chosen to travel the globe.

Join The Mountaineers when the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Seattle, at the Mountaineers Program Center on November 28th, 29th, and 30th 2012 at 7pm.
________

This event is a fundraiser for The Mountaineers.  We strive to serve everyone, regardless of ability to pay. We are committed to providing access to outdoor recreation, education and conservation opportunities for all youth in the communities we serve. The Mountaineers Access Program (MAP) is how we do this! MAP is a scholarship fund that subsidizes individuals and groups who otherwise would not be able to afford Mountaineers programs.  Please consider donating $5 to help support this program

A cash only wine and beer bar, and food for purchase will be provided each evening of the festival.  Bring your appetites!
