Burlesque for Peace made it's debut on Valentine's Day 2002 in response to the War on Afganistan. In its decade of successful performances, many national and local organizations have benefitted by the bump-and-grind. Burlesque and variety performers work to save the world one shimmy at a time! Be prepared to revel in our freedom of expression as performers inspire and inform.

The Austin Burlesque Alliance is comprised of all burlesque performers and troupes in the Austin area. The alliance seeks to improve excellence of the art form and strengthen the bond between artists in the burlesque community.
