The way this hot acoustic Bay Area sextet blends Celtic trad tunes and the best rock songs ever is delighting Deadheads, Celtoids, rockers, and folkies alike. Local fans are guaranteed many brand-new surprises.

Wake the Dead is Danny Carnahan (vocals, fiddle, octave mandolin), Sylvia Herold (vocals, guitar), Paul Kotapish (vocals, mandolin), Kevin Carr (uilleann pipes, fiddle), Cindy Browne (bass) and Brian Rice (exotic percussion). Their sound is unique, their energy extraordinary a rare collision of worlds that leaves everybody dancing and grinning.
