History style documentary meets live concert performance in this unique and epic experience, revisiting 24 decades of history in two riveting music-filled hours. All Star Line-up brings to life 240 years of the American West decade by decade in the music of every era, from Native rattles to ragtime to rock. With live music, rare film, historic photos, and video, Romancing the West brings to life decades of social and political change, exploring both the tragic and the triumphant episodes of history to celebrate the pioneering human spirit and diverse legacy of the American West. From tribes of the Northern Plateau and Russian ships exploring the Western Coast, and the Spanish building of the Mission Chain to Western boomtowns, the Trail of Tears through The Great Depression and World War ll, the prosperous post War era, the turbulent 1960s, and the political polarization of the turn of the Century to the present, audiences experience the real stories of the people of the Great West told in narration, imagery and the musical style of their times.
Award winning recording artists, including Martin Gerschwitz (Iron Butterfly, The Animals), and Cowboy Poet and Balladeer Butch Martin and singer/songwriter Christina Lynn Martin, the producers of Romancing the West.
