3rd Annual Zombie Photoshoot!
This is our 3rd year of this event and it looks like it will be bigger and better than ever! The date will be Oct 20th and it will be held at South End Auto Wrecking, locacted at 3400 East Valley Rd., Renton WA 98055. We will be starting at 6:00pm sharp and ending at 10:00pm. We will be having 5 scenes for zombies with 10 heroes to photograph. Photographers will have about 20 minutes to photograph the scene and then move on to the next one. There will be minimal lighting changes because of time restrictions. We are limiting the number of photographers this year so everyone gets a chance to get the images they want. They will probably be some time also for individual photographers to get detail shots or stand alone ones but please be aware of the time constraints we have. We will be providing water and snacks for the evening. Be sure to bring something warm you can wear if you are a zombie and photographers dress appropriately for the weather. Lets hope for nice dry weather!
Photographers: We will be shooting either with hot lights or strobes depending on the location and what is available lighting wise. We will be using pocket wizards to sync with so if you have them, please bring them. You may also want to bring a tripod but also be aware of space limitations since you will be shooting with 5 or 6 other photographers all wanting that "money" spot! Tickets for photographers will cost $30 since this is an event designed for you! All you need to bring is your camera (dont forget those flash cards and extra batteries!) and you are good to go.
Zombies: We will be starting with makeup promptly at 6:00pm SHARP so if you need make-up please be on time and ready to go. The theme this year is of course the wrecking yard so keep that in mind when choosing your costume. work clothes and such make a great tie-in but we are not limiting what you wear. You will be assigned a group and a location to work in so please follow our team leaders and their directions. The cost for zombies is $5 if you come with your zombie make-up already on and ready to go, $10 if you need make up.
Heroes: If you are a hero this year, please be at the wrecking yard by 6:00pm sharp for make up and any instructions. We will be providing weaponry for you unless we have talked and you are bringing something of your own. Please no real guns! We have fake ones to use for the shoot. Cost for the heroes is $5. You will be moving around alot so please be aware of the team leaders and directions so we have heroes were needed.
MUA: if you are involved with make up or costumes, please be at the wrecking yard at 5:30 sharp to get set up and ready to go. We will be covering the costs of the make-up if needed so please let me know what that might be. Costumes will be provided by the zombies themselves so we wont have to worry about that other than maybe a few extra rips here and there.
Assistants and team leaders: If you are on the list for a team leader, please be at the yard at 5:30 to help set up and get instructions. You will be assigned either a group of people or a scene to work with.
This year we are ordering Tee-shirts for the event designed by Big Bark Shirts and Design. You can see the shirt design on the events page. Cost s for the Tee-shirts will be $15 (we were charging $10 but everyone wanted black so the price had to go up a bit)
