Hell's Half Mile Opening Night Film - Missed Connections
Join us for the opening night of the festival! We are featuring the comedy film "Missed Connections," starring Kenny Stevenson, Dorien Davies, and Shane Elliott. Written by Kenny Stevenson and directed by Eric Kissack, this film is sure to have you laughing the whole way through. It starts at 8:15 p.m., Thursday, October 4 at the State Theatre in downtown Bay City.
Film Synopsis:
Recovering after a brutal break-up and quitting his job, Neal (Kenny Stevenson) is persuaded by his friends to move on by using a novel approach: setting up fake dates with women who have placed missed connections ads on line. He goes on the dates but only watches from a distance as the girl waits. Just as loses hope, Neal swoops in to make a new connection. But when he meets Jane (Dorien Davies), he more than meets his match in terms of deception. An unexpected and spontaneous comedy, Missed Connections is not to be missed!
