This is a five hour workshop designed for those interested in learning how to make elderberry wine. The course will enable each participant to confidently start 5 gallons of wine from either juice or whole fruit, transfer it (rack it) when needed, stabilize it correctly, and bottle it.
Course Instructor: Dr. John Brewer, President, Wyldewood Cellars, Mulvane, KS.
The workshop's objectives are: 1.To introduce elderberry fruit for use in winemaking 2.To learn about basic elderberry winemaking procedures 3.To discuss basic winemaking equipment and wine chemistry 4.To walk away knowing how to produce elderberry wine
Registration fee is $30. Includes lunch and elderberry wine tasting.
Pre-registration is required. Course is limited to 100 participants.
