Cider Week Prix Fixe Dinner With Cider Pairings
oin us for another amazing vegetarian dinner. This time our Guest Chef is Chitra Agrawal of the ABCDs of Cooking, who worked with our good friend Cathy Erway to (wo)man the Vegetopolis Pavilion at Pig Island. Chitra's Indian specialties are perfect for this cider-pairing dinner in celebration of Cider Week. Chitra will prepare five courses to go with five ciders (curated by special guest Steve Wood of Farnum Hill Ciders). Vegetables will be sourced from Evolutionary Organics. First course: Dosa Lettuce Wraps with Potato Palya and Herbed Chutney Second course: Kosambri Salad with Kohlrabi, Carrot, Apple, Sprouts, Coconut, and Herbs Third course: Spicy Lentil Soup with Seasonal Greens and Farmer's Cheese Fourth course: Spelt Vangi Bath with Curried Winter Squash, Cauliflower, Yogurt Raita and Chutney Fifth course: Carrot Halva Cake with Homemade Yogurt and Pistachios
