ESCAPE VELOCITY
Shape-shifters, time-travelers, and rebellious women take the stage in ESCAPE VELOCITY, a collection of fantastical short plays to be presented by Those Women Productions for six performances only, February 17-25 at Temescal Art Center in Oakland.
Playwrights: Victoria Chong Der, Genevieve Jessee, Carol Lashof, and Madeline Puccioni.
Directors: Norman Patrick Johnson and Libby Vega.
Acting Ensemble: Lijesh Krishnan, Brianna Rodriguez, J. Adan Ruiz, Brittany Sims, Julie Ann Valdez, and Loralee Windsor.

THE 4:00 PM PERFORMANCE ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 25 WILL BENEFIT GIRLS INC. OF ALAMEDA COUNTY, "inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold."
Theater-makers Carol S. Lashof and Libby Vega formed Those Women Productions on International Women's Day, 2014, to stage hidden truths of gender and power. The following year, the fledgling company was named Best Year-Old Theater Company by the East Bay Express. ESCAPE VELOCITY will be their fifth production.
