Clayton Brothers Quintet
THE GATHERING is the latest project of the Clayton Bros - family that is, with Gerald Clayton -pno joining the bill with dad and uncle John Clayton -bass and Jeff Clayton -alto. Terell Stafford -tpt and Obed Calvaire -dr fill out the quintet. As John says, "(This exciting project) will allow us to 'gather' new music, new sound combinations and more. We are gathering our friends together, we are gathering our music, we're gathering your ideas and your resources to put this whole thing together." Be a part of this jazz project that will culminate in a recording.
