Local Sightings Series Pass

Local Sightings is Northwest Film Forum's premier showcase of contemporary filmmaking in the Northwest, featuring great parties, prizes for filmmakers, and national film industry jury members looking for strong work. The annual festival includes both feature film presentations as well as short film programs and special events with performances, installation art and audience participation.

Closing night this year is the Film Forum's 2011 Northwest Film Fund winner Off Label, a documentary about the modern pharmaceutical industry by Portland filmmakers Michael Palmieri and Donal Mosher. Other highlights include International Sign For Choking by 2010 Local Sightings winner Zach Weintraub, and Coast Modern, a documentary hailing from British Columbia which looks at a legacy of inspired living by the pioneers of West Coast modernist architecture.
