Vicki Burns in "Love Spell"
Since Vicki Burns arrived in New York in 2009, she has lit up the stages of Birdland, Jazz at Kitano, The Metropolitan Room, Cornelia Street Cafe and The Zinc Bar, with her signature sound and swinging improvisation. Once described as a "gold mine" by jazz drumming legend Max Roach and "a wonderful singer" by bassist, Christian McBride, she brings a new show, entitled "Love Spell" to the lush, intimate Pangea on January 7th, 2017 at 7:00pm. Accompanied by the dazzling duo of Billy Test on piano and longtime bassist, Sam Bevan, she will sing a selection of rare standards and choice originals including songs written by Ellington, Strayhorn, Lee Morgan and Cannon Ball Adderley's bassist Sam Jones.
All Sales Are Final.
Seating at Pangea is communal. Other guests may be seated at the table. There is a $20 per person food or beverage minimum at the tables. DINNER SEATING BEGINS AT 6:00PM.
Please arrive one half hour prior to the show and allow additional time if you are planning to have a dinner.
Late arrivals will be seated at managements discretion.
