5th Annual Bigelow Music Festival
The 5th Annual Bigelow Music Festival will be held in Bigelow (3 miles from the Toad Suck Bridge) Arkansas.
The festival, held on the grounds of the historic Rosenwald Community Center, is produced by Soul Blues singer Mz. SuMac. For the past 5 years, she has been committed to not only providing the Arkansas community a great day of music and fun, but to restore the community center itself, once a part of the Rosenwald school system in the area. This building has been in dire need of repair and restoration.
This year, San Francisco Bay Area Blues artists, Nat Bolden, GG Amos and Mz. SuMac herself will be joined by the Austin Texas Blues & Gospel duo The Snakeboy Shiners.
Local acts featured will be the Gospel groups "Sisters Of Faith" as well as "Delivered" who will open the festival. Also onboard are Keyboardist, Floyd 'Eagle' Dukes and Hip-Hop performer Tic-Toc, sure to please the younger crowd.
Free parking will be available. It's recommended that festival-goers bring their own blankets and chairs, food and beverages.
Festival hours: 2pm to 8pm Ticket prices are $15 at the gate. Online tickets purchased here are $12.00 plus Brown Paper Tickets fee of 99 cents + 3.5%.
