20% Theatre Company Twin Cities presents a remount of THE PINK UNICORN by Elise Forier Edie
Directed by Meghan Gunderson Starring Mykel Ann Pennington
How on Gods green earth can you be both a boy and a girl?
At once hilarious and heartfelt, THE PINK UNICORN is an award-winning solo theatre piece that tells the story of Trisha Lee, a Christian widow, living in a conservative Texas town, whose life is thrown into turmoil when her teenage daughter announces she is gender queer and starting a Gay/Straight Alliance at the local high school. When the school principal rejects the GSAs application for inclusion as a school club, Trisha must choose sides in her rapidly dividing town.
THE PINK UNICORN sold out its limited 3-performance run at Bryant Lake Bowl in the fall of 2015, and is back for 2 weekends at Open Eye Figure Theatre this winter!
