This unique workshop: Your Screenplay Sucks - Ways To Make It Great, features Will Akers, as he explores some of the biggest mistakes that script writers make.
Akers (a long time film veteran) will set the record straight on many of the common misconceptions about the art and the craft of screenwriting. DATE: Monday, December 12 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. LOCATION: 66 Winthrop Street, Cambridge.
The talk will be followed by a Q & A session and a book signing. Books may be purchased through HSSW or online at Amazon.
About Will Akers:
Author of Your Screenplay Sucks! 100 Ways To Make It Great, William M. Akers is a WGA Lifetime Member and has had three feature films produced from his screenplays. He has written for studios, independent producers, and network television. He teaches screenwriting in the Motion Pictures program at Belmont University. Akers has been a script consultant for twenty years and gives writing workshops around the world. His first novel, Mrs. Ravenbach's Way, was published in March, 2016 by ReganArts / Phaidon. He speaks reasonable French and was a "Jeopardy!" contestant. He did not win.
